Jenny Wuerker is presently exhibiting her work, along with her husband Aaron, at the Nicolaysen Art Museum. She is a Plein Air (outdoors) Landscape painter who has also taught art for many years at all levels, from high school and college, to children‘s workshops and adult education. She lives in Buffalo WY, owns Crazy Woman Fine Art Gallery, and was part of the downtown Buffalo mural team. She has a BA from Yale University and an MFA from The American University. Supplies are provided. Please bring a fold out chair or a blanket to sit on. All skills levels are welcome.


Class Description: Discover the fun of painting outside! In this workshop, you will learn how to capture the world around you in a quick acrylic painting, directly from observation. Jenny Wuerker will introduce you to the basic principles of starting a painting and will do a quick demonstration of how she works. You will have the opportunity to tackle your own city landscape painting right outside the Nicolaysen Art Museum!

Fees: Free for members, $25 for non-members.
