Join us for our Fall Reception at The Nicolaysen Art Museum as we unveil two captivating exhibitions: Joan Sowada’s “Feeling Safe and Well” and R.J. Loveland’s “A Lifetime of Self-Reflection in Art.”

Joan Sowada’s “Feeling Safe and Well” features a stunning collection of contemporary art quilts that delve into themes of connection, balance, and personal well-being. Joan’s quilts, spanning representational, abstract conceptual, and cartoon styles, offer a thoughtful exploration of what it means to feel settled, calm, and supported.

R.J. Loveland’s “A Lifetime of Self-Reflection in Art” presents a rich tapestry of introspective artworks, reflecting a lifetime of artistic and personal exploration. Loveland’s exhibit showcases his journey through various mediums, providing a deep and reflective experience for viewers.
