Discover the joy of drawing and painting in this experiential workshop introducing a “hands-on” approach to realism and abstraction. Encounter the power of creative innovation and experience a new way to “see” as you practice visually translating what you see uniquely and excitingly. We will discuss realism to abstraction, focus on a greater understanding of composition, and practice “seeing” abstractly. We will begin with a representational interpretation of a Still Life and abstractly interpret the Still Life through various steps.
Serena Bocchino’s art investigates the intersection of abstraction and expressionism with a distinct focus on music, movement, and identity. Bocchino’s work has been exhibited internationally in many solo and group exhibitions. To learn more about the artist, visit serenabocchino.com.
