The NIC is excited to invite the Casper community to a TUTU PARTY! On Friday, March 25th at 5:30 p.m. we will celebrate the exhibition, The Fabric of His Life, Larry Sissy Goodwin. This will be one of the last opportunities to see the exhibit in person.
This exhibit honors the late Sissy Goodwin, a Vietnam veteran and retired educator from Douglas, who caught national attention for his admiration of wearing dresses.
Occasions by Cory will be catering the event, and Backwards Distillery will be serving their unique cocktails.
The NIC invites any business or groups in the state to celebrate with their own TUTU PARTY on that day, even if they cannot make it to Casper. Anyone who has similarly celebrated Sissy before is welcome to join!
The Discovery Center will have a drop-in TUTU-making activity available leading up to the TUTU PARTY for museum visitors from March 22nd to the 25th during regular operating hours.
