ABOUT THE ARTIST / FROM THE ARTIST

I am a self-taught artist, that is driven by passion, seized by an obsession with the need to paint every day. Born in Iowa, raised as a farm girl, have lived in Colorado, Hawaii, Georgia, and currently residing in Casper, Wyoming. Adventure is the name of the game.

Educated as an Aerospace Engineer and proud of the fact that I was able to participate in working on the Hubble Space Telescope,  the Kepler space telescope, the soon-to-be-launched James Webb Telescope, and many other planets observation instruments.

Oil paint is my medium, my inspiration is western art, portraits,  surreal painting, abstracts, or what inspiration comes to mind.

Studied with various professional artists with Robert Hagan being my biggest influence and teacher.

Nothing is more important to me than sharing my art and also bringing pleasure to the viewers that see it.
