FROM THE ARTIST
“Who doesn’t love the frivolity of a Saturday? A day spent paying tribute to that sense of adventure that lies dormant so much of the time. My paintings are like experiencing the curiosity and elation of the next exploit waiting to happen. As if you were being dropped into my vibrant and detailed, Saturday adventure. Stealing that moment just for yourself.
Many happy days were spent in the sunroom with my Grandmother learning her passion for painting as a much shorter version of me, lighting my artistic path into adulthood. I find it hard not to have a new project taped and drawn within hours of the last conquest. This allows my creativity to constantly be alive inside me. Watercolors are my version of seeing life through rose-colored glasses.”
