AMAZING EXHIBITS AT THE NIC

All the Right Angles: Anton Fox

April 8th — September 16th

Even though Hard-edge geometric abstract paintings have been around for a long time, today they still seem to both provoke and intrigue the viewer.

Phases: Amber Marie

April 8th — September 16th

Amber Marie  is a magical realist that specializes in portraits with symbolic imagery. She creates pieces with colored pencil and acrylic paint on wood or paper.

Land of Joyous Color: David McDougall

May 20 — August 13

This work is primarily acrylic on panels and supplemented with colorized line drawings. My work combines bright disparate objects, disturbed interiors, whimsical elements, and satirical circumstances to mine the visual depths of my subconscious imagination producing a visual overload with a wackadelic potpourri of bent perspective and characters from the land of joyous color.

A Shallow Look at the Deep End: Mark Paxton

May 27 — August 21

The discipline and process of traditional oil painting has always been of interest to me. The physical act of painting, the trial and error of working with the medium, the anticipation, the possibilities of what may be uncovered. That is my art, my aesthetic.

Uplift: Ashley Hope Carlisle

June 22 — September 16

We are asked and at times volunteer to make a transition, to disseminate from one place to another or from one moment to another. Imagine as a child and place yourself mentally within a milkweed seed being dispersed by chance or by choice.

Creative Indigenous Collective Members Exhibition: Return

July — December

Join us for our next exhibition opening reception RETURN by the Creative Indigenous Collective. The title of the exhibition refers to the artists in the Creative Indigenous Collective with historical Tribal ties to Wyoming “returning” to exhibit their work.
