NIC Fest is back once again with three days of art, food, live music, and several new attractions. NIC Fest 2022 runs June 10-12 throughout the Nicolaysen Art Museum and grounds after a two-year hiatus during the pandemic.
With more than 15,000 people expected, NIC Fest offers opportunities for artists and businesses to sell and demonstrate their art and goods. The festival takes place on the first weekend of College Nationals Final Rodeo (CNFR) and brings in locals and travelers alike.
Jason Michael Carroll headlines the festival that Saturday night. Find out more about his country music hits at jasonmichaelcarroll.com The music lineup kicks off with a new Friday night Battle of the Bands competition. The crowds can keep dancing all weekend to community favorites Patti Fiasco, John Kirlin and the High Plane Drifters, and Zach Scott.
This year, other new features include a Beer Garden with local brews, including a special NIC Fest Brew (Grapefruit Shandy) by Skull Tree Brewing. The Family Fun Zone is back with activities for all ages, including sandcastles and even a display of hot air balloons outside (weather permitting) of our children’s area. We can’t believe how many amazing cars we will have for our Art on Wheels Car Show! A new NIC Fest logo to grace our festival merch features a dinosaur with a paintbrush and palette by artist Jim Kopp of Casper.
