Welcome to the Discovery Center, at the heart of our art museum, where creativity knows no bounds and young imaginations soar. Step through our famous Little Door and into a fun and engaging play area for all ages to learn and create.
In the Discovery Center, you’ll find both sensory and imaginative play areas, drawing and painting stations, a puppet theatre, and of course our legendary crayon rubbing table! But the fun doesn’t end there. Throughout the Discovery Center, activities are tied to the art on display in the galleries, allowing visitors to connect with the art they’ve viewed in new and exciting ways. Discover the stories behind each artist or exhibit and learn new techniques that make art come alive. Parents are encouraged to learn and play alongside their children, fostering bonds that last a lifetime, and creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

The Discovery Center is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
